- Set-up and manage CNC machines to perform different jobs including drilling, grinding and milling.
- Ensure the CNC machine operates in accordance with the guidelines of the company.
- Oversee the machines while they execute the tasks and make the necessary changes to produce improved results.
- Check machinery daily to guarantee functionality.
- Complete production and quality logs.
- Communicate issues that arise in the process of creating a part.
- Ensure that part meets client and Legacy Machining expectations.
- Other duties as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification required.
- 1-3 years experience as a CNC machine operator is a plus.
- Ability to read technical documents and engineering drawings.
- Great attention to detail with a goal-driven attitude.
- Strong comprehension and analytical abilities.
- Good computer and mathematical skills.
- Great time management skills.
- Skilled at troubleshooting and resolving mechanical or logistical problems that arise

Job Summary:
Legacy Machining, LLC. of Fort Atkinson, WI is searching for a part-time hours/week) CNC machine operator to oversee our CNC machines. The CNC Operator safely and efficiently loads raw materials and sets up accessories. You will be responsible for ensuring systems meet requirements from management while following company policy. You will be responsible for producing quality parts specific to engineering drawings and client standards.
A successful CNC Operator has an eye for detail and can efficiently perform calculations. However, they must also be able to think quickly on their feet while working in a fast-paced environment.
Our flexible schedule is perfect for a parent who needs to drop off and/or pick up kids from school or for a semi-retired individual. On-the-job training provided.
