Job Requirements


Education Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited institution.


Certifications Requirements:
Washington Speech Therapy License, CCC-SLP preferred; CFY candidates with a temporary license may be considered; AHA CPR certification.


Experience Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience providing speech therapy services across pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations.


Other Requirements:

Ability to work Saturdays, flexibility in scheduling, strong interpersonal skills, ability to work in inpatient and outpatient settings, enjoyment of "birth to death" service spectrum.

Job Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive speech therapy assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for patients across pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure therapy goals are aligned with overall treatment objectives.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and therapy sessions according to facility standards.

Execute therapeutic interventions in inpatient and outpatient settings, including swing unit and sub-acute rehab services.

Support facility efforts to expand services ("birth to death") by delivering services across all age groups and assisting with coverage during staffing shortages.
