In your day-to-day activities, you'll work with multiple customers, as a consultant and trusted partner in Sandalwood's areas of expertise of Systems Integration, Injury Prevention and Systems Engineering.

We're currently looking for a Facilities Engineer to join our growing team of engineering and ergonomics professionals helping our customers reduce their work-related risk to quality, productivity, and employee health.
You will work as part of a team to provide engineering documents/designs, project management and field coordination of projects for a major automotive OEM.
Further details about the role are as follows:
Responsibilities:
Coordinate all facility engineering and construction activities at client site.
Make recommendations regarding construction, safety, and project planning.
Support procurement of resources necessary for project success.
Create and present reports of project progress to management.
Assist in developing concept layouts and designs, scope of work, and budgets as needed.
Successful candidates will have the following attributes:
Experience in facilities engineering and project management.
Experience with automotive manufacturing facilities.
Professional Engineering license.
Ability to establish priorities, work both independently and in team settings.
A professional manner with excellent oral and written communication skills.
Strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.
Ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization.
Detail oriented self-starter who works well as a part of a diverse team.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related discipline or proven experience.
Three years of facilities engineering and project management. Licensed Professional Engineers preferred.
Familiarity with Architectural, Structural, Mechanical and Electrical engineering.
Ability to work effectively in a hybrid / majority on-site assignment.
Legally authorized for work in the United States.
