    Full Time: Monday-Friday; Mon 8-5; T/W/Th 7:45-5:30; Fri 7:45-3

    Summary

    The Clinic Team Lead, under the supervision of the clinic physician(s), provider(s), and Regional Clinic Manager, provides daily on-site leadership and effective management of clinic operations. Ensures high levels of patient customer service, operational efficiency, physician, provider, and employee satisfaction.

    Responsibilities:

    Essential Functions

    • Maximizes clinic and team efficiency, productivity and teamwork
    • Manages clinic operations including budget and staffing
    • Assists with employee recruitment, selection, and hiring
    • Assists with managing staff performanceProvides regular updates to Regional Clinic Manager
    • Ensures all phone messages, faxes, and interdepartmental mail are addressed immediately
    • Responsible for attaining prior authorizations and maintaining a system to track from start to finishProvides and supervises new employee orientation
    • Provides CLIA training (where applicable)Acts as a role model and subject matter expert for policies and procedures set in place by management
    • Responsible for Clinical Assistant and Receptionist duties as needed.
    Qualifications:

    Education

    Minimum Post High-school education in a medical support field such as Medical Assistant, CMA, RMA or Licensed Practical Nurse is required. Must hold current certification/licensure and must maintain certification/licensure throughout employment

    Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

    • Two years of previous experience in Dermatology/Mohs surgery is preferredMust maintain CPR Certification.
    • Must be able to travel as neededMust demonstrate leadership experience
    • Proficiency with computers including Microsoft OfficeAbility to work effectively and cooperatively with staff, clients, and visitors
    • Ability to multi-task, prioritize appropriately, and work well both individually and as part of a team
    • Ability to use time productively and contribute to high levels of company operational efficiency and effectivenessAbility to maintain confidentiality of information.
