    Description

    Our client is one of the worldwide leading manufacturers and distributors of automation components and system solutions.

    To grow their team, they are seeking a responsible Office Clerk to provide support for the order processing and accounting teams. In addition, the Office Clerk will perform other general office tasks to support the sales and marketing team.

    Some experience as an office clerk – most suitable in an industrial firm – is required, basic general knowledge in an office setting is advantageous.

    Duties include but are not limited to:

    • Process orders from customers via email, fax, or phone via ERP system
    • Confirm pricing, lead time, shipping terms
    • Order entry, Purchase Order Processing
    • Order confirmation and updates, including expediting
    • Purchase Order receipt, Billing to Customer
    • Returns processing including crediting and replacement
    • Generating and following up on quotes
    • Master data administration in ERP and CRM system
    • Managing the shipping and receiving process during staff shortage
    • Support the sales and marketing team
    • Verify expense and mileage reports from the Sales Team subject to our guidelines
    • Process, verify and post customer invoices and keep their accounts up to date
    • Post customer payments received by check, credit card, EFT, ACH, or wire.
    • Handle the dunning process
    • General office tasks to support the sales and marketing department

    Requirements:

    • Associate degree, preferably bachelor's degree
    • Computer skills including Microsoft Office and preferably an ERP system
    • Dependability and reliability with a proven history of excellent attendance and punctuality
    • The ideal employee can multi-task, have strong attention to detail with a sense of urgency, and be a self-starter who can easily manage and organize their responsibilities and follow instructions
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality
    • Ability to effectively communicate, both written and verbally
