    If working with a progressive, passionate veterinary team excites you, this opportunity is just for you We are seeking a board-certified or residency trained Veterinary Surgeon to fulfill an integral role and join a small animal hospital in Indio, California.

    Our client is a nonprofit animal welfare organization centered in providing the best comprehensive services to all pets in the area.

    The hospital specializes in affordable surgeries, spays & neuters, dentistry, wellness and preventative care, and blood work.
    Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
    Providing daily veterinarian services for small animals
    Supervising and guiding staff in the process of medical procedures and surgeries
    Providing pet health and ownership counseling to clients
    Maintain complete records while preserving confidentiality

    Qualifications:
    Active California license, DEA license, APHIS certification, experience with veterinary clinic procedures, knowledge of MS Office, team player attitude, new grads are encouraged to apply as well
