CMM Programmer/Inspector - Mobile, United States - ATT Metrology Solutions

The CMM Programmer/Inspectors will be using the provided Hexagon CMM with PC-DMIS software to program and inspect parts. All provided equipment will be in current calibration.

The task will be to inspect complex hardware for various systems. ATT will share in the teams impact on all aspects of detailed part inspection. In this task, ATT will be tasked to perform daily part inspection utilizing state of the art Hexagon Coordinate Measurement Machine (CMM) utilizing PC-DMIS software to execute the inspections. This task requires in-depth knowledge of GD&T and the ability to perform manual inspections. This position will require knowledge and utilization of nonconformance processes. The ideal support personnel would thrive tackling the day-to-day work in progress for the inspection work center. This task will report directly to the Quality Manufacturing Manager who is responsible for the conformance.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in dimensional inspection of aerospace components.
• Must be proficient with PC-DMIS software use for CMM programming and operations.
• Superior blueprint reading skills including GD&T per ASME Y14.5M-1994 standard.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Fluent in the use of precision hand tools, gages, optical comparator, and surface plate work.
• Experience inspecting tight tolerance, high value components.
• Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion.

This employee will generate an ATT measurement report, or complete customer provided report, of all measurement data. A copy of the data will be provided to the customer for review and as documentation for future tasks requiring use of the data.

Must be able to travel extensively. ATT will provide one trip home per month for a long weekend.
