Job summary
We are seeking an experienced groundskeeper to join our Facilities team, ensuring our beautiful, classic Seminary grounds and facilities are well-maintained, groomed, clean, and orderly.Responsibilities include mowing lawns fields residential properties edging trimming irrigating sweeping litter from walks streets parking lots driveways assigned areas planting cultivating pruning spraying fertilizing irrigating flowers trees grass hedges shrubs water various ground areas hand operating irrigation system as required perform general cleanup picking removing paper trash trimmings debris from grounds areas parking lots streets athletic fields assigned areas empty waste receptacles ensure storage stockrooms orderly comply inventory controls fire insurance regulations operate maintain variety equipment like mowers edgers blowers sprayers trucks backhoes excavators skip loaders tractors trimmers chainsaws shears trenchers grinders line marking machines utilize standard gardening hand tools replace blades fluids needed drive vehicle conduct work maintain perform inventory parts tools equipment adjust repair replace sprinklers assist digging holes trenches assist other maintenance activities including tree removal topping fence repair concrete repair others requested comply safety practices identify provide elimination hazards reporting needs repairs unsafe conditions compliance local federal state regulations load unload haul transport supplies clippings debris materials equipment required adhere schedules deadlines garden preparedness special functions events retrieval off-campus purchases supplies parts Facilities department.
