    We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a genuine interest in energy, technology, and a passion to deliver products for a growing company. The Sr. Post Deal Contract Analyst will facilitate and support retail sales account activities through the generation and processing of account change documents in the markets served by SES, including PJM/ERCOT/NYISO/ISONE/CAISO. The Sr. Post Deal Contract Analyst will directly collaborate with their team members, Pricing, Sales Support and other cross-functional teams to support evolving business needs.

    Reporting into the Contracts Administration Manager, the role requires self-motivated, dedicated and responsible individual with the ability to perform well under pressure.

    JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Responsibilities include the generation and processing of commercial sales agreement change documents, i.e., Adds/Deletes, Assignment & Assumptions, and other amendments etc.
    • Following and meeting SLA's, as assigned.
    • Reviewing sections of contracts and understanding certain contract terms
    • Responsible for the calculation of early termination fees.
    • Resolves processing issues on completed commercial sales agreements internally.
    • Researches and resolves contract inquiries and disputes from internal parties.
    • Assists in other areas that may need additional attention.
    • Other duties as assigned.
    ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

    Successful job applicants will be able to perform these functions. Reasonable accommodations will be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
    • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
    • 8+ years' experience in the electricity sector; preferably with experience related to commercial operations, back office and contract administration.
    • Development capability is optional but will be viewed favorably.
    • Deep knowledge, experience, and expertise in ERCOT, PJM, NYISO, ISONE and CAISO
    • Knowledge and experience with Sales Force, Intelometry and Smartsheet or equivalent contract management systems.
    • Outstanding communication skills, written and oral, for example, following up on requests, ensuring internal groups are kept informed of any delays in turning around pricing requests, or outlining a rationale for you work.
    • Understanding of the documents and templates you work with; ability to work outside the box by demonstrating an ability to problem solve and create practical solutions to overcome problems and mitigate risks.
    • Comfortable working in a target-driven and fast-changing environment, and able to respond to changing business needs.
    • Proficient use of Microsoft Office programs including Word, Outlook and strong Excel skills
    • Excellent analytical, organization and time management skills, with the ability to maintain a strict level of attention to detail.
    • Ability to work well within a team environment and demonstrate a vested interest in team goals and objectives; maintain positive and effective working relationships.
    • Self-motivated with the desire to consistently improve performance, improve efficiency and gain further knowledge.

    • Required to be in-person in Houston, TX through a hybrid workplace environment
