    Description

    Mendelson Law Firm was established in 1975 and has developed and grown since that time. MLF offers its employees a positive work environment and advancement opportunities. The firm is current seeking a litigation paralegal/administrative assistant. This is a full-time position and will support two (2) attorneys. The position is located in Memphis and pay will be commensurate with experience. The core responsibilities of this position will include preparing Tennessee and Mississippi court pleadings such as suits, default judgments, discovery, and various motions and orders, uploading documents to the various electronic courts and assisting attorneys as needed. Applicants should be self-motivated with strong interpersonal, problem-solving, organizational and communication skills.

    Qualifications:


    • Must have at least one year of previous experience as a paralegal or legal assistant


    • Professional demeanor, with a record of dependability and attention to detail is essential


    • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel is a plus


    • Must be familiar with legal terminology


    • Ability to prioritize workload


    • Ability to multitask


    • Deadline and detail oriented
