A machinist/tool and die maker is a skilled professional who will be responsible to operate machine tools to create, modify, or repair precision parts and instruments.
Set-up and operate all equipment in Machine Shop Production Cells.
Operate the production cell to the current standard work method or methods.
Maintain all cell and production order documentation.
Maintain high degree of quality and productivity.
Work from engineering and manufacturing engineering drawings, sketches, or ideas to produce production tooling and repair of production tooling.
Suggest improvements in design of manufacturing tooling and machining methods to produce this tooling.
Assists in training manufacturing personnel in the set-up and use of production tooling.
Perform daily minor maintenance on the equipment they are assigned to operate.
Maintain machine shop production cell 5S status

Must have own basic inspection tooling (0-1" Mic, 6" dial calipers, 1" to 3" depth Mic and Indicator with Mag. 74/hourly.
