    Description
    SMX is seeking a Data Center Engineer (Cloud & On-Prem)
    The successful candidate will play a crucial role in designing, documenting, and installing innovative solutions to meet the evolving needs of our organization and its clients
    This position requires a blend of technical expertise, creative problem-solving, and effective communication skills
    Responsibilities


    • Attend requirements gathering meetings and document customer requirements.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective application solutions.
    • Design scalable and efficient solutions that align with industry best practices and standards.
    • Create technical documentation for developed solutions, including system architecture, data flow diagrams, and user guides.
    • Communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Lead the installation and configuration of application solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues, working closely with support teams when necessary.
    • Provide hands-on support during the implementation phase to ensure successful deployment.
    • Collaborate with software developers, system architects, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with overall system architecture and strategic goals.
    • Participate in cross-functional team meetings to gather insights, share progress, and contribute to continuous improvement.
    • Conduct thorough testing of potential solutions to identify and address any issues before deployment.
    • Proven experience in designing and implementing effective solutions.
    • Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences
    Required Skills and Experience


    • The selected applicant must have DoD 8570/5239 IAT Level II Certification (Security + CE equivalent, or greater), and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Secret clearance (eligible for upgrade to Top Secret) Desired Qualifications
    • Familiarity with communicating technical concepts with stakeholders
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
