    Opportunity:

    Job Details:


    • Work 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM shift schedule

    • 13-week contract assignment starting ASAP

    • Minimum 1 year of experience required

    • No call requirements

    • Required certifications: BLS, ARRT (T) at time of submission

    • Travel experience required

    • Must comply with 60-mile radius restriction with no exceptions

    • Locals not accepted

    • First-time travelers accepted

    • Keep RTO requests to minimum, preferably no calendar week off during assignment

    • Expected to work some holidays

    • May be required to float to other departments as needed within scope of practice

    • Perform pretreatment procedures including CT/iCT, CT Simulation, MRI, PET Scan

    • Handle beam modifying and positioning including block cutting, CBCT/kV/mV imaging

    • Calculate radiation doses, design treatment plans, and supervise implementation

    • Provide treatment for conditions including benign brain tumors, craniospinal, total body/skin irradiation

    • Assist with internal treatments including hyperthermia and brachytherapy procedures

    • Work with various treatment units including ARIA, Elekta Infinity, GE systems

    • Maintain patient care responsibilities including IV starts, patient/family teaching, emergency response

    • Follow isolation precautions and radiation safety protocols

The facility maintains modern radiation therapy equipment and technology to deliver precise cancer treatment to adult patients. The center offers interdisciplinary support services including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy services to ensure comprehensive patient care.

    Adex Job ID # Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
