    Description

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Operate 3,4 and 5 axis CNC mill/lathe machines using setup instructions
    • Checking parts are machined to drawing by measuring critical dimensions using common measuring tools
    • Ability to read G&M codes on the machine controller
    • Keep work environment clean and organizedRequirementsEducation and/or

    Work Experience Requirements:

    • Great Attitude
    • Able to work well with others
    • Reliable and on time
    • Great attention to detail
    • Ability to stand or sit for up to 8hrs
    • Can lift 50 pounds
    • Ability to read, write and comprehend English, schematics and machine shop terms
    • Experience with measuring tools such as micrometer, caliper, indicator etc.
    • Follows instructions well, ability to follow instructionsDesired skills and experience:
    • Ability to open and review Mastercam programs
    • Follow instructions to run measuring program on Vision/CMM machine
    • MillTurn experience with Mazak Integrex
