- Support Lab management in various projects
- Notify customers promptly of critical values and delays
- Complete annual competencies as per CLIA regulations
- Maintain survey readiness consistently
- Ensure compliance with accreditation requirements through PT samples and results
- Execute QC, calibration procedures, and corrections accurately
- Assist in training new and existing Lab associates
- Communicate operational, quality, and error concerns to Lab leadership
- Monitor workload and communicate effectively as necessary
- Participate in staff meetings
- Assist with specimen processing, including order entry and registration
- Evaluate and validate new instruments or procedures
- Assess and ensure result validity and quality based on technical knowledge and SOPs
- Handle customer problems efficiently

Aiken Regional Medical Centers, located in Aiken, South Carolina, is a 273-bed acute care facility providing healthcare services to the residents of Aiken and surrounding communities, recognized for its excellence in treating heart conditions and pneumonia. Services offered include emergency care, orthopedic surgeries, maternity, and behavioral health services.
Medical Lab Technologist conducts examinations and tests on human specimens to gather information for patient diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring, working under Medical Technologist supervision.
