    Description

    Housekeeping Guest Service Representative

    We are looking for a Housekeeping Guest Service Representative (GSR) to join our team. As a GSR, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive guest experience through maintaining clean and comfortable rooms, following hotel standards diligently.

    This position is vital for providing high-quality service to our guests, working collaboratively with the hotel team to uphold standards, room quality, and overall hotel safety and security.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Follow hotel guidelines to ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and organization in guest rooms and designated areas.
    • Replace linens, make beds, clean bathrooms, vacuum, and dust effectively.
    • Greet guests warmly, handle guest requests, and maintain positive guest relations.
    • Restock cleaning supplies, linens, and amenities in guest rooms.
    • Use appropriate cleaning chemicals as per regulations.
    • Coordinate with front desk on room status and guest needs.
    • Inspect room fixtures, report maintenance issues promptly.
    • Maintain guest confidentiality and hotel data security.
    • Handle physical cleaning tasks and operate equipment efficiently.
    • Adhere to OSHA standards and provide special services upon request.
    • Perform self-room inspections and accept feedback positively.
    • Cross-train in other hotel departments if possible.
    • Complete assigned duties diligently.

    Qualifications:

    • Prior experience in customer service (1-2 years preferred).
    • Proficient in administrative tasks like timekeeping and reports.
    • Professional appearance, friendly attitude, and ability to multitask.
    • Capable of lifting, bending, and working variable shifts.
    • Willingness to work in diverse conditions and contact with pets.

    Working Conditions:

    Due to variable hotel environments, the role may involve working indoors and outdoors in different conditions. Protective equipment is required, and working hours may involve nights, weekends, and holidays.

    Physical Requirements:

    The job involves various physical activities and vision abilities. Candidates must be able to lift weights, move freely, and adjust focus as needed.

    Required qualifications:

    • Legally eligible to work in the United States.

    Preferred qualifications:

    • Aged 17 years or above.
    • Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs.
