    Facility Power Systems Electrical Engineer

    to design the electrical power systems facility projects that support both sustaining infrastructure and new program facilitation requirements

    on site

    at our

    Clearfield, Utah

    location.

    In this position you will plan, design and oversee the reconfiguration, maintenance, and alteration of equipment, machinery, buildings, structures, and other facilities.

    Responsibility includes gathering, reviewing, and finalizing requirements data regarding facility or equipment specifications, required completion dates, and construction feasibility.

    Job Summary including Duties and Responsibilities:
    Designs industrial electrical power systems per the latest edition of the NEC
    Expertise in power distribution and load calculations
    Provide detailed cost estimates for project design and implementation
    Expertise to develop electrical schematics and One Line diagrams
    Provide detailed electrical designs in Revit / AutoCAD drawing format
    Develop electrical maintenance guidelines for industrial equipment
    Knowledge of performing Arc Flash Analysis
    Work with maintenance craftsmen to troubleshoot electrical issues

    Basic Qualifications:
    Sr.

    Staff Facility Power Systems Electrical Engineer Level 5:


    Bachelor's Degree with 12 years of Engineering experience in Power Systems, Power, Electrical, Electronics, Engineering, Design, Facilities, Operations, Aerospace, or Control Engineering; OR Masters with 10 years of experience in mentioned fields; OR PhD with 9 years of experience in mentioned fields.

    Must be a US citizen
    Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance

    Preferred Qualifications:
    STEM Degree (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math)
    Understanding of the NEC and NFPA 70E
    Revit and AutoCAD drafting experience
    Experience designing and commissioning power distribution systems
    Must be able to maintain one line drawing for multiple buildings
    Experience supporting manufacturing facilities
    Interpret building and utility drawings and make the revisions as required
    Demonstrated knowledge of Utah Code and Regulatory requirements
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    Strong organizational skills in managing time, projects and resources
    Applied knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project)
    Ability to design security systems to the ICD705 is preferred

    Salary Range:
    $142,500 - $213,700

    The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

    Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.

    In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
