- You have a high school diploma or GED.
- You have a minimum 8 years working in avionics and parts manufacturing inspection having experience with engineering drawings, applicable inspection methods, techniques, equipment, and tools used to determine the compliance of new articles
- You have a minimum 4 years of direct supervision experience, with responsibility for receiving inspection, assembly, final inspection and delivery of aviation products or articles.
- You are proficient with Microsoft Office.
- You have strong attention to detail.
- You are organized, focused and results oriented.
- You are a problem-solver with critical thinking and prioritizing skills.
- You have good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- You are experienced with aircraft electronics and systems, and in the use of oscilloscopes, signal generators, spectrum analyzers and other specialized test equipment.
- You have experience working in a Part 145 Repair Station environment
- Monitor operations to maintain established high standards in a production environment while ensuring a consistent, reliable, quality product delivered on time, as expected
- Manage and develop direct reports, monitor workplace performance, and lead training initiatives
- Oversee the use of current applicable released planning, drawings, test data, and other pertinent data to produce articles to be certified as airworthy
- Oversee the coordination of First Article Inspection (FAI) activities, ensuring all new engineering released changes are incorporated, track cut-in data and communicate FAI status to customers as needed
- Coordinate revisions of the AS9100 Quality Manual and Production Approval Holder Quality Manual and supporting procedures
- Maintain readiness and interface with regulatory agencies and customers during tours and audits
- Initiate correction and response to any regulatory or customer audit nonconformance's\
- Develop, maintain, and report appropriate production metrics to Quality management
- Perform or support quality audits of the entire facility, including the repair station, if needed
- Lead or support RCCA activities for internal, customer, or supplier issues
- Work closely with manufacturing, manufacturing engineering, design engineering, and RCCA team to improve quality and production processes, value stream, and environment
- Constant handle, feel, and manipulation of small objects\
- Occasional lift and carry independently up to 50 lbs.

As a Chief Inspector/Supervisor, you will lead all manufacturing inspection activities as we serve the best customers from all over the world – from general, business, and commercial aviation. You'll ensure that the inspection standards, methods, and procedures are maintained and meet approval by the Federal Aviation Administration as a Part 21 Manufacturing Facility. To be successful in this role, you'll need to have familiarity with all regulatory and industry requirements related to Aerospace Quality Standards. You'll be an important part of the process that keeps our customers flying.
