    To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, this Summer, we're looking to add a Process Engineering Intern located in our Austin, TX site.

    Reporting to the Process Engineering Manager, the Intern will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, supporting continuous improvement projects for the production of a medical device.Various technical and business skills will be developed through the projects and interaction with different team members and the customer.

    What a typical day looks like:

    • Analyze current manufacturing process, providing data driven improvements on the process area assigned by the engineering manager
    • Present improvement proposal to engineering manager and team for feedback and approval
    • Execute, with engineering team support, project improvements
    • Create/revise Manufacturing Process Instructions and/or Preventative Maintenance Instructions based on the improvements implemented
    • Attend team meetings and support project work as needed
    Student qualities we're seeking for this internship assignment:
    • Currently enrolled Junior or Senior pursuing degree Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Controls Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related field
    • Microsoft Office Suite
    • Mini-tab or equivalent data analysis tools
    • SolidWorks or other design software experience
    • Preferred: Microsoft Project
    • Strong verbal, presentation and written communication skills
    • Self-motivated, high energy and strong time management skills
    • Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to work in teams and collaborate with others
    • Demonstrated leadership skills and team orientation
    • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
    Internship Program Requirements:
    • Available to start on May 28th and work 40 hours/week (in-person) for 10-12 week Summer assignment
    • Currently enrolled in 4-year accredited university
    • 3.0 minimum GPA
