- Oversee various accounting functions, including Billing, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll Processing, General Ledger, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition. Ensure accurate and timely financial transactions.
- Prepare and distribute monthly financial statements timely.
- Assist with regulatory reporting requirements (CMS, IRS, etc..).
- Research and address technical accounting issues to ensure compliance.
- Support/oversee month-end and year-end close processes.
- Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts.
- Analyze variances and provide insights to improve financial performance.
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies.
- Strengthen internal controls to safeguard financial integrity.
- Manage compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
- Work closely with external auditors during financial audits.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in accounting.
- CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- Proven work experience as a Financial Controller.At least 5 years of combined accounting and finance experience (public accounting experience a plus).
