- Applicant has completed Nurse Aide course and presents Nurse Aide Certification. PCA or PCT certificate also acceptable.
- Must maintain a current BLS certification from American Heart Association
- NAs are responsible for providing basic patient care under the supervision of a nurse. The duties generally include observing patients, recording vital signs, performing EKGs, and reporting changes in patient conditions.
- Nursing student who has completed approximately one quarter of their nursing curriculum (LVN or RN) and clinical experience Or applicant has at least one year of previous/recent hospital Nurse Aide experience.

Learn more about why we are one of the Best Companies to Work for in Texas.It is the goal of the Resource Pool department to assist with staffing needs throughout the hospital by providing supplemental Registered Nurses, Nurse Techs, Nurse Aides or Certified Nursing Assistants as requested by the nursing units.
The Resource Pool department assists with staffing licensed and non-licensed staff for Critical Care and Med-Surg departmentsPatient populations differ based on area staffed and the clinical clusters include:
oMed-Surg RN: 3E, 3W, GT/SCU, 4E, 4W, Cardiac ICCU, 5W, Med-Surg ICCU, SWCC, OPS, and Endoscopy
oCritical Care RN:
MICU, TSICU, BICU, CVICU, Neuro ICU, COPS, Endoscopy, SWCC, EC and PACU.
oNon-licensed staff: are assigned to nursing units throughout the hospital according to established clinical competency and identified needs.
