    Computer Server Hardware Technician

    Hillsboro, OR

    Shift: Regular Day Shift (Mon - Fri) 8am-5pm

    Job skills:
    • Familiar with computer/server hardware architecture


    • Ability to assemble server systems using various hardware components


    • Ability to debug issues in server system bring-up


    • Ability to socket CPUs, flash BIOS, install Operating Systems (Windows/Linux), install Firmware and Drivers, disk partitioning, configuring networks and debug associated issues


    • Ability to configure KVMs, network switches and storage arrays


    • Working knowledge of BIOS, Firmware and Drivers and their interaction with Operating System, etc.


    • Ability to do configuration changes at BIOS/Firmware level


    • Familiar with scripting (Python, Shell, etc.)


    • Ability to make minor changes to test automation scripts


    • Ability to setup test and measurement equipment (Power meter, Oscilloscope, Logic analyzers, protocol analyzers etc.) for a given test


    • Ability to Triage test data and debug test setup/configuration related issues


    • Ability to communicate with various stake holders – Validation Engineers / Lab managers

    The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum salary target for the position across all US locations.
