Your OpportunityAs a
Senior
Consulting Analyst, your principal purpose
is to generate business value for
Vytalize
by combining your deep
expertise
in actuarial analytics and value-based care to work closely with business stakeholders to create competitively differentiated insights, that are actionable to drive shared healthcare cost savings for
Vytalize
and its provider and payer customers. You serve as a trusted business advisor who is highly effective at collaborating cross-functionally with stakeholders at all levels. One of your strengths is the ability to translate your customers' business questions and
objectives
into actionable data-driven information and recommendations.
Examples of the insights include leveraging risk adjustment data to improve preventative care, chronic disease management, patient engagement strategies,
optimize
referral networks, and predict future healthcare needs, as well as actuarial analysis for cost and use opportunity identification and forecasting savings from different initiatives.
Work closely with business stakeholders to translate business questions and objectives into actionable data-driven information and recommendations that drive the business and customer goals
Develop and execute analytics that identify and quantify actionable opportunities to impact shared savings, and measure the results of actions taken by business customers to realize those opportunities
Provide strategic guidance and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders using analytically generated insights aligned with Vytalize's strategic priorities, goals, and objectives
Develop and maintain strong business relationships with customers and stakeholders across departments and external to the organization, that are founded on trust, reinforced by transparent and ongoing communication, and maintained by delivery of value
Translate customers' business questions into analysis plans and analytical results into meaningful recommendations for action
Employ advanced statistical and computational methods to extract actionable insights from complex datasets to optimize business performance
Contribute to the growth of a data-driven culture by promoting data literacy and fluency—the ability to read, work with and communicate effectively about data, analytics and insights—across the organization
What will make you successful here
Master's degree in Analytics, Business Administration, Finance, Healthcare Administration, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
required
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in complex data analysis for health systems, healthcare providers, healthcare payers, managed care organizations, and/or accountable care organizations, that includes the continuum of analytics: descriptive, diagnostic, predictive and prescriptive
Subject matter
expertise
in Provider Network or Risk Adjustment in the context of value-based care
required
Experience working closely with business stakeholders to understand their goals and needs and translate them into actionable and measurable data-driven insights to help drive company and customer performance
Experience in health and healthcare data and analytics required
Experience with Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) accountable care models: Medicare Shared Savings Program (MSSP) and Accountable Care Organization Realizing Equity, Access and Community Health (ACO REACH) models preferred
Proven track record of leveraging data and analytics to inform and drive clinical and financial outcomes in healthcare
Passion for leveraging data and analytics to drive innovation and organizational success in healthcare
Occasional travel may be required based on business needs
