The Clinic Medical Assistant is responsible for scheduling patient appointments and maintaining clinic schedule and workflow for specialty providers per practice guidelines.- Determines the purpose of appointment and schedules or directs patient to appropriate department.
- Responds to and coordinates incoming referrals in collaboration with nursing and provider staff.
- Prepares patient records for scheduled appointments allowing productive patient appointments.
