Job DescriptionBourbon City Golf Carts is a leading recreational golf cart dealership serving Louisville, KY and Southern Indiana. Our company offers sales, service and rentals of golf carts. We are an OEM dealer for Evolution Electric Vehicles (golf carts).
We are looking for one full-time employee to join our family in the position of golf cart mechanic / technician. Previous experience repairing golf carts is a plus and some experience with electrical wiring systems is a requirement. You will on occasion be responsible for delivering golf carts to our clients so you should have experience driving a truck and/or truck pulling trailer. It's important that you are a self-starter and can work without constant supervision. Our service center is brand new, fully air-conditioned and heated
We are looking for an employee who will show initiative and willing to grow into a possible larger role with expanded duties down the road. We are willing to train in the details of our products. A positive attitude and willingness to learn is a requirement. Dedication towards customer satisfaction is a must. You MUST have a great attitude. We try to be a happy group here, if you have a bad attitude, please do not waste your time applying This is a position that will work five days a week - Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm. Occasional overtime may be required but is not typical.
Our company does not work on internal engine components, rebuild engines nor internal transaxles. We do work on A LOT of electric golf carts of all makes, models and years. The ability to understand and follow manufacturers schematics is a must.
Duties:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on vehicles and equipment
- Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential problems or areas of concern
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot complex issues
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed
