    Position: Surgical Technologist

    Location: Chicago, IL

    Employment Type: Full Time

    Work Schedule: Monday-Friday

    Description:

    Join our Operating Room team as a Surgical Technologist, assisting in surgical cases and providing support to the healthcare professionals in the OR.


    Responsibilities:

    • Prepare operating room for procedures
    • Assist during surgeries following protocols
    • Ensure patient safety
    • Handle specimens properly
    • Assist with post-procedure tasks
    • Participate in training new staff
    • Handle surgical instruments with care
    • Assist in organizing and restocking supplies
    • Attend trainings and staff meetings


    Qualifications:

    • High School diploma or equivalent
    • 1 year of Operating Room experience preferred
    • Strong communication and organizational skills
    • Ability to work in a team and follow directions
    • Accuracy in performing tasks

    License/Certification: Current CPR Card


    Environment:

    • Standing for long periods
    • Lifting heavy trays
    • Handling instruments for extended periods
    • Exposure to noise and bodily fluids
    • May involve lifting and moving patients
