    As the Senior Manager of Software Development, you will be responsible for overseeing and driving the software development process from conception to deployment. Your role will involve managing a team of talented software engineers, coordinating cross-functional collaborations, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software products. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's technological vision and driving the execution of software development strategies.

    Primary Duties and Responsibilities
    Essential Functions
    • Lead and manage multiple teams of software engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to foster professional growth and high performance.
    • Develop and implement software development strategies, goals, and initiatives in alignment with the company's overall objectives.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders, including product managers, designers, and other cross-functional teams, to define project requirements, scope, and deliverables.
    • Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, ensuring adherence to industry best practices, coding standards, and quality assurance processes.
    • Drive the execution of projects, including planning, resource allocation, scheduling, and risk management to ensure timely and successful delivery.
    • Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing within the software development team.
    • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, trends, and industry developments, and provide guidance on their potential impact and application within the organization.
    • Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and identify training needs to enhance team productivity and effectiveness.
    • Collaborate with the recruitment team to attract, hire, and retain top software engineering talent, ensuring a diverse and inclusive work environment.

    Minimum Skills and Qualifications

    • 10+ years leading software development teams, projects, or similar.
    • 6+ years' experience in Software Development.
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
    • Solid understanding of software development methodologies, Agile principles, and DevOps practices.
    • Exceptional leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve high-quality results.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

    Preferred Skills and Qualifications

    • Advanced knowledge of object-oriented development.
    • Understanding of cloud-based platforms to identify possible opportunities for usage.
    • Knowledge of emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in software development.
    • Advanced knowledge of SQL databases.
    • Advanced knowledge of .NET or similar web application technology
    • Understanding of modern automated testing best practices.
