    Job Summary:We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our team as an Accounting Clerk. The Accounting Clerk will play a crucial role in supporting the financial operations of our organization, performing a variety of accounting tasks with precision and efficiency.     Responsibilities:

    1. Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including processing invoices, matching purchase orders, coding expenses, and issuing payments.
    2. Conduct daily reconciliations of bank statements and credit card transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness.
    3. Assist in preparing financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, under the guidance of senior accounting staff.
    4. Maintain accurate and organized financial records, both electronically and in hard copy, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
    5. Assist with payroll processing, including verifying timesheets, calculating wages, and processing employee payments.
    6. Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data and provide support as needed for budgeting, forecasting, and audit processes.
    7. Respond to inquiries from vendors, customers, and internal stakeholders regarding billing, payments, and general accounting inquiries.
    8. Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
    9. Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
    10. Perform ad hoc tasks and special projects as assigned by management to support the finance and accounting team.

    Qualifications:

    • Associate's degree or equivalent in accounting, finance, or related field (Bachelor's degree preferred).
    • Previous experience in an accounting or finance role is preferred but not required.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with colleagues and external stakeholders.
    • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
    • Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies in the accounting field.
