As a Controls Engineer at our flagship plant location, you'll play a pivotal role in implementing cutting-edge controls and automation projects and maintaining and improving processing and packaging systems.
Responsibilities:
Drive the development, installation, and commissioning of plant controls and automation systems.
support for controls and automation systems, ensuring seamless operation.
Work on the team to design and specify plant control system architecture, setting high standards for efficiency and reliability.
Collaborate with third-party controls engineering partners to achieve project goals.
Skills and Experience :
Minimum 3 years' experience in controls and automation engineering within relevant industries - food-beverage-dairy-pharma aor consumer goods. .
Proficiency in Allen Bradley PLC programming and advanced HMI development, preferably with Wonderware.
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
Experience with process control panel design and specification.
Familiarity with high sanitary standards in food and beverage industries, including CIP cleaning and sterilization.
Preferred experience with Wonderware MES, .NET programming, SQL databases, and Ethernet/IP communication.
Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor.
Proficient in MS Office suite.
Employment Qualifications:
Food, Dairy, Beverage, Pharma,Consumer goods liquid filling packaging industry experience.
Bachelor of Science in an Engineering discipline but
will consider experience in Lieu of a degree .
Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
