    Turning Point Brands is seeking an Associate Brand Manager for the Stoker's brand. Stoker's has a proud heritage dating to 1940. Stoker's competes in the chewing tobacco segment, where it has grown to the #1 position, and in the moist snuff segment, where it remains one of the fastest-growing brands. The portfolio also includes Beech-Nut, launched in 1897, and a diverse collection of other chewing tobacco brands that offer a variety of consumer choices and tastes. This role reports to the Sr. Brand Director, Stoker's Segment & Brand Experience, but will work closely with numerous cross-functional partners and is responsible for setting brand strategy and execution.

    Essential Functions
    • Oversee the development of the annual marketing plan to ensure growth targets (share, volume, financial performance) are achieved, while maintaining compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
    • Builds plans that are consumer-first with an understanding of the full picture of brand building (the Ps).
    • Guide the creative executions that build brand equity based on brand positioning, campaigns, vision statement, and core strategies.
    • Leverage category trends and consumer insights to build brand plans that continue to grow this iconic brand.
    • Overseas annual on pack promotional planning, incentives, creative, and build out, Coordinating allocations and ship list fulfillment with Sales.
    • Build an integrated marketing communication plan and overall brand strategy with key internal stakeholders; prioritizing the rapid increase of brand awareness, trial, and repeat.
    • Evaluate the competitive landscape and ensure the brand is effectively competing.
    • Strong P&L influence inclusive of sales forecasts/projections, COGS optimization, and resource allocation.
    • Oversee the in-market product offerings and determine portfolio optimization to ensure we are maximizing top and bottom-line growth while minimizing cannibalization.
    • Drives Product Development to align on commercialization and go-to-market plans of incremental line extensions and/or new products, where relevant.
    • Partner with Sales on creating brand initiatives and priorities, trade allowances, in-store programming, customer sell-in presentations, and education materials.
    • Partner with Digital team to create and support digital plans that support annual growth targets with a keen focus on a balanced investment given the Stoker's brand goals.
    • Partner with Creative team to drive break-through consumer centric creative work with a concentration on building brand awareness, equity, and establishing key points of differentiation.
    • Manages all couponing activities, from development, redemption forecasting, to fulfillment actuals across all print and digital applications.
    • Partner with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements with a focus on productivity and efficiency.
    • Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure strong business plans and execution.
    • Provide regular updates on assigned brand(s) to senior management.
    • Potential to manage staff including recruiting, hiring, training, coaching, supporting, etc.
    Minimum Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Marketing or related subject.
    • 3 to 5 years' experience, ideally in a CPG company.
    • Responsible for being knowledgeable of and acting in strict accordance with the requirements of all relevant laws, regulations, and Company policies, including, among other areas, Food and Drug Administration regulations, which the company will assist in and coordinate training.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
    Preferred Qualifications
    • Nielsen/IRI experience.
    • Ability to travel 15% of the time.

    The pay range for this role is between $90,000 to $98,000 a year.
