Software Engineering Manager - FactSet Research Systems Inc.

This position is for a Software Engineering Manager at FactSet Research Systems Inc. located in Norwalk, CT. As a Software Engineering Manager in the Research Engineering department, you will be responsible for managing a team of software engineers and projects. Your duties will include:

• Reviewing product requirement documents.
• Problem solving and working on high-level issues to ensure product effectiveness.
• Implementing and tracking development timelines.
• Negotiating feature sets with development leads and product teams.
• Setting goals and mentoring ongoing projects.
• Providing guidance on software design and implementation.
• Coordinating recruiting, training, and onboarding for the team.

Minimum Requirements:

Qualified candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, 2+ years of software engineering experience, and proficiency in full-stack web development, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTTP, REST, Scrum, Kanban, Agile, large scale computing, data models, and working with new applications and APIs.

The basic pay range for this position is $115,000 to $145,000 per year for full-time employment.
