    As a System Administrator with IT security experience, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our network infrastructure, with a focus on ensuring the security and integrity of our systems. You will play a critical role in identifying and mitigating security risks, implementing security measures, and maintaining compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

    Responsibilities:

    • Design, configure, and maintain network infrastructure components, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
    • Implement and manage security devices and technologies, such as intrusion detection/prevention systems, endpoint security solutions, and security information and event management (SIEM) systems.
    • Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests to identify and remediate security vulnerabilities.
    • Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and best practices to safeguard against cyber threats and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
    • Monitor network traffic for security incidents, investigate security breaches, and implement appropriate incident response measures.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and compliance, to implement security measures that align with business objectives.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, or a related field.
    • 3+ years of experience in network administration, with a focus on IT security.
    • Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or equivalent.
    • Proficiency in network administration tools and technologies, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
    • Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking, routing protocols, and network security principles.
    • Experience with security technologies and solutions, such as IDS/IPS, SIEM, antivirus, and encryption.
    • Knowledge of security frameworks and standards, such as NIST, ISO 27001, or CIS Controls.
    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
