- Ensures overall clinical, operational and fiscal oversight for programs that include clinic, consultation and satellite programming.
- Provides regularly scheduled supervision to staff members
- Ensures that the clinical needs of the clients are met and that excellent clinical care is in line with State and City regulations and mandates
- Evaluates staff and provides training through regular supervision
- Ensures appropriate supervision of all program interns, either through direct supervision or by overseeing the clinical supervision provided by an appropriately licensed staff person.
- Implements continuous quality improvement initiatives and ensures the program utilizes established, effective interventions to achieve defined, meaningful clinical outcomes
- Reviews and evaluates comprehensive assessments, progress notes, treatment plan reviews for quality assurance.
- Ensures that programmatic systems are in place to meet all client safety and service needs
- Is a key staff resource for community outreach efforts and may perform such outreach and establish linkages with other groups, individuals or organizations which may be helpful to the clients served.
- Ensures compliance with internal and external policies, procedures and regulations
- Utilizes data to inform planning, service delivery and overall management
- Participates in agency and external committees and initiatives
- Works collaboratively with other clinic directors
- Performs other duties, as assigned.
- LMSW/LCSW/PsyD license Required
- Experience in direct services to the homeless and/or mentally ill and substance abusing populations
- Minimum of 3 years of closely related experience
- Experience acting in administrative and leadership roles
- Excellent engagement and communication skills.
