    TechSentials is a leading provider of telecommunications solutions, specializing in designing and implementing advanced LMR (Land Mobile Radio) DAS (Distributed Antenna System) projects for public safety and government agencies. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced LMR DAS Field Engineer to join our team and contribute to the success of our projects.

    The LMR DAS Field Engineer will work as a vital member of the project team, providing essential technical expertise and support at customer sites. This individual will be responsible for performing system tests, troubleshooting and repairing systems, conducting site surveys, and communicating effectively with customers. Additionally, the LMR DAS RF Field Engineer will work hands-on with system components and collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure successful deployment and maintenance of LMR DAS systems.

    The Ideal candidate will perform the following duties, including but not limited to:

    • Perform system tests using test radios, RF scanners, spectrum analyzers, transmitters, and other electronic test equipment
    • Act as a customer-facing representative, conducting site surveys and walkthroughs, and effectively following up on tasks
    • Work hands-on with system components such as antennas, fiber optics, coax, and RF amplifiers
    • Troubleshoot and repair systems for optimal performance, including isolating external noise interference, PIM interference, and OTDR testing
    • Apply RF principles/theory to analyze signal paths, radio frequency power, frequency bands, system noise, and modulation types
    • Provide pre- and post-benchmark collection and processing to support design engineering requests
    • Collaborate with teams across various levels and departments to assist in planning, designing, migrating, and troubleshooting LMR DAS systems

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience
    • Minimum 3 years of experience in technical/engineering deployment positions in the RF/Wireless industry
    • Technical knowledge of RF/Wireless telecommunications
