Pharmacist in Charge – PICHealthCare Support is seeking an experienced, Pharmacist in Charge to join a nationally recognized pharmacy in San Diego, CA. In this role, you'll drive strategic growth, strengthen team engagement, and champion operational excellence.

$ $83.00 per hour (depending on experience)

Daily Responsibilities
Responsible for ensuring full compliance with all state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations while overseeing the daily clinical and operational functions of the pharmacy.
This role provides leadership and direction to pharmacy staff in areas such as scheduling, purchasing, workflow management, and clinical decision?making.
The Pharmacist in Charge works closely with pharmacy management to support efficient daily operations, implement quality initiatives, and drive cost?containment strategies.
QualificationsActive and Clear Pharmacist license in California
3+ years Licensed Pharmacist Experience
Strong knowledge of State Board, DEA, and federal regulatory requirements
Experience leading inspections, audits, and corrective actions
Proven oversight of controlled substances and diversion prevention
Familiarity with long-term care and CMS compliance standards
As required by state regulations; clean driving record and proof of auto insurance
