- Read, understand and follow work order / BOM.
- Prep door to ensure no imperfections are present.
- Operates sander, drills and other hand tools in an assembly line environment.
- Check door sales order and work order to ensure the correct frames and door are being prepped for installation.
- Responsible to ensure that all products meet the required standards of quality.
- Assists in supporting Safety Procedures and Policies.
- Assists in adhering to 5S and general shop housekeeping policies.
- Other duties as assigned
- Ability to follow directions and work well in a team.
- Ability to interpret and translate engineering designs and documentation.
- Able to stand long hours on hard surfaces, up to 8 hours per day.
- Thorough understanding of/ or the ability to quickly learn production equipment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
- Understanding of and the ability to abide by applicable OSHA and environmental regulations.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Ability to lift 75 lbs.
- Previous experience in production/manufacturing environment
- Strong decision making and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work across departments.
- Able to process information and learn best practices.
