*Trinity Trace Community Care Center* is seeking a *RN Infection Preventionist* to join our TEAM

*Job Summary: The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring infection prevention and control measures within our healthcare facility.

*Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular infection control risk assessments
• Develop and implement infection prevention policies and procedures
• Educate staff on infection control protocols and best practices
• Monitor compliance with infection control standards
• Investigate and report any outbreaks of infectious diseases
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure proper aseptic techniques are followed
• Review patient documentation for accuracy in infection-related data
• Monitor and track patient outcomes related to infections
• Stay current on OSHA, HIPAA, and other regulatory requirements related to infection prevention

*Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (RN)
• Previous experience in acute care setting preferred
• Knowledge of aseptic techniques and patient monitoring
• Familiarity with physiology and disease processes
• Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations
• Experience in documentation review and analysis
• Certified in Infection Control (CIC)
• Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficient in computer applications such as Microsoft Office and database management

*Even better if you have the following:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in infection prevention and control
• Knowledge of assisted living facilities is a plus
