    Description


    The position of Construction Manager is to include, but not limited to, leading and directing the construction department in the building of inground swimming pools.

    Knowledge of swimming pool construction is required.

    Requirements

    Hire and supervise personnel. Schedule and coordinate jobs. Communicate effectively. Ensure production is completed on time and on budget. Ensure quality assurance.

    Responsibilities

    Productivity- Monitor timelines weekly.

    Streamline processes and reporting.

    Analyze, manage and mitigate risks.

    Oversee daily operations and make adjustments

    Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building & safety regulations.

    Attend all construction and company meetings as required.

    Financial- Monitoring costs weekly.

    Review cost overruns to set a plan to prevent them.

    Sub-Contractors- Finding contractors, meet quality specifications.

    Meet contractual conditions of performance.

    Meet with suppliers and manage relationships with Vendor & Systems.

    Quality Documentation- Establish policies, procedures, standards & systems.

    Requirements- Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods.

    Expert knowledge of building products, construction details, and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards.

    Ability to plan and see the "big picture"

    Competent in conflict and crisis management.

    Excellent time and project management skills.
