Job summary
The Coordinator of Student Mental Health will assist schools in making strategic decisions ensuring students are supported physically mentally and emotionally.
Responsibilities
- Centralizes and coordinates mental health services across counselors psychologists social workers administrators families and community providers.
- Develops implements monitors tiered mental health interventions including SEL curriculum screening structured counseling classroom-support schedules suicide prevention response programming monitoring Suicide Risk Assessments postvention supports ensuring fidelity to division protocols professional learning trauma-informed care crisis response best practices school-based mental health teams staff liaison with families external agencies coordinate services support continuity data-sharing analyzes monitors mental health data referral patterns program outcomes support strategic planning resource allocation continuous improvement supports manages specialized programs grants strengthen prevention early intervention efforts division.
