    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Develops, modifies, applies, and maintains quality evaluation, configuration management, Foreign Object & Debri (FOD) program, process control systems and protocols
    • Provides analysis and explanations of testing and inspection plans, methods and technologies to assure reliability and conformance of products and processes
    • Analyzes and makes recommendations for corrective actions for nonconformities and/or design problems for internally produced products & processes
    • Utilizes Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) core elements (e.g. PFMEA, MSA, Process Flow and Control Plans, etc.) to identify and make recommendations for managing risk in product development
    • Manages processes to ensure all requirements are met for work transfer and process change management including Resourcing Gate, First Article Inspection (FAI) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) acceptance
    • Reviews process control documentation to ensure compliance with requirements, objectives, and/or contracts
    • Develops, modifies, applies and maintains quality evaluation, control systems and protocols for materials being processed into partially finished or finished products
    • Working with product design and specification, devises testing plans, methods and equipment to assure reliability of product. Collaborates internally to ensure quality standards are in effect
    • Ensures that projects and process control documentation are compliant with requirements, objectives and/or contracts
    • Identifies and manages risk in product development primarily utilizing and driving PPAP core elements (e.g. PFMEA, MSA, Process Flow and Control Plans, etc.)
    • Manage Root Cause & Corrective Action process for external and internal customer complaints
    • Interface and assist with supply chain development and initiatives
    • Responsible for counterfeit parts and awareness training
    • Understand and translate the requirements of AS9100 Standards on the floor

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree (Industrial Engineering, Quality, Operations, Supply Chain) and 5 years of prior relevant experience or advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience
    • AS9100 Experience
    • Must be a U.S. Citizen
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills including, but not limited to writing skills and ability to make presentations to peers, management, customers and suppliers
    • Independent problem solver, ability to work with limited supervision
    • Works well and accomplishes tasks within a cross functional team. Has the ability to see the big picture while also being detailed oriented enough to ensure documents and data are accurate, complete and consistent.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Lean or Six sigma certification.
    • ASQ Certified Quality Engineer or Quality Manager
    • Experience in welding operation environment
