    • The Unit Manager is responsible for the delivery of high quality and safe clinical services.
    The Unit Manager will manage clinical and support staff of the Unit. This team leader is also responsible and accountable for daily operations to achieve best practice and organizational objectives.


    Qualifications:


    Current and valid New Jersey Nursing license is requiredActive American Heart Association (AHA) BLS/CPR certification is requiredDemonstrated clinical competence with a minimum of 3 years nursing experience requiredNursing leadership experience preferredExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    Leadership and motivational skills. Critical thinking, program development and project management skills. Skilled in group facilitation and/or team building is a must.


    Responsibilities:
    Responsibility for planning, developing, implementing, coordinating, controlling and evaluating and adjusting all aspects of the unitResponsibility for demonstrating age appropriate assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care delivered to patients and the 24-hour accountability and responsibility for the departmentEstablishing and maintaining effective working relationships with referring facilitiesDevelop and report QAPI that are pertinent to the unitManaging multiple concurrent projects and maintaining a work pace appropriate to the workloadKey characteristics for this position are the following:Demonstrates the ability to develop strong and collaborative relationships with clinicians and leaders throughout the acute care facilityAbility to think strategically and consistently demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skillsCapacity to facilitate team member engagement by creating a positive and collaborative work environmentEffectively manage change and demonstrate an ongoing commitment to quality and service improvementDemonstrate a passion for his/her work and the ability to inspire and motivate othersCreate a culture of accountability and willingly accepts ownership of goals#J-18808-Ljbffr
