- Drive business growth in the designated region by establishing relationships with new retailers and sustaining a loyal customer base to meet revenue goals
- Lead the end-to-end sales process, from initial contact to product sales and ongoing customer management
- Develop strong industry relationships to act as a trusted advisor for retailers, addressing market challenges and showcasing the value of Verdesian products
- Create strategic business plans targeted towards retailers in the assigned territory, including sales forecasting and budgeting
- Implement targeted marketing campaigns and research initiatives to generate leads and drive sales
- Consistently align sales activities with business targets and territory objectives
- Stay ahead of market trends and customer needs by collaborating with marketing, customer service, and other relevant departments
- Demonstrate proficiency in EPA and state regulations related to the industry
- Support public relations efforts by fostering strong business relationships
- Regularly update the CRM tool to maintain accurate customer records
- Undertake any additional Account Manager duties as required
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Proven track record of building meaningful relationships
- Strong persuasion and negotiation skills
- Effective time management and organizational capabilities
- Experience working with Chemical Fertilizer Dealership Staff, Certified Crop Advisors, and Independent Crop Consultants
- Comfort engaging with academic institutions
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively
- Previous experience in lead generation and biological technologies in agriculture is advantageous

The Account Manager will play a key role in expanding and nurturing Verdesian's network of retailers in an assigned territory, promoting the full range of Verdesian products.
