    Job Summary

    (includes but is not limited to the following, other duties may be assigned)
    Responsible for managing the engineering and construction activities necessary to plan, design, license, construct and start-up new power plants.

    Manages projects from original concept through final implementation and is responsible for administrative/operational/technical leadership of the project(s) including managing of budget.

    Defines project scope and objectives. Assembles project teams, assigns individual responsibilities, develops project schedules and is responsible for determining and acquiring resources needed.

    Must be familiar with the entire scope and requirements of the project(s) and serves as liaison between team members and functional area management requesting project.

    Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables. Recommends and takes action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems. Responsibilities may include contracts, supply chain, quality assurance, government relations, public relations, etc.

    May identify, evaluate and hire outside contractors as needed throughout all phases of development, and coordinate with internal technical functions.

    May supervise and coordinate the engineering and construction, audit, and contract groups associated with assigned project. Complexity and scope of project varies based on level of experience.

    May be designated project or technical lead for an ongoing process or short-term project within own department.
    Information sharing – gives and receives information such as options, technical direction, instruction and reporting results.

    Job Information
    Focus on reducing the effects of corrosion in the steam gathering system. Work is split between field and office work.

    Specific areas for this group include:
    Evaluate methods to reduce both short term and long term effects of corrosion in the steam collection system
    Manage projects in the field to implement testing of methods through new processes and modified equipment design
    Evaluate budgetary necessity and prioritizes budgetary spending
    Analyze annual budget spend and optimizes for future spend to improve safety and reliability
    Coordinate with steamfield engineers on equipment standardization and modernization
    Coordinate with internal and external technical experts on evaluation and implementation of steamfield technological advancements
    Provide technical guidance in the development of guidelines, procedures, and contracts.
    Job Requirements
    Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Construction Management.

    Journey – level; typically requires 5+ years experience managing a portion of a large project or independently leading a small project.

    Working knowledge of a wide variety of project management tools, processes and methods.
    Preferred Qualifications include
    Industrial/Field experience
    Mechanical, Civil, or Chemical Engineering degrees acceptable
    Familiarity with ASME Power Piping Code B31.1
    Familiarity with PdM/NDT, specifically UT, vibration, and weld VT
    Familiarity with steam pipeline corrosion mitigation
    Familiarity with Root Cause Analysis, HAZOP, and MOC
    Familiarity with U-stamp pressure vessel stamping, permitting, inspection, repair (R-stamp) and overpressure protection
    Salary Information
    Salary Range - $100, $128,340.18
