    Service Technician at Gas Engine Compressor Solutions

    Are you a skilled Service Technician looking to join a leading provider of gas engine compressor solutions? Our client is seeking a Service Technician II who can handle maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting tasks at customer sites. This role offers the chance to showcase your technical expertise and contribute to the smooth operation of critical industrial equipment.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Technical Maintenance:
      • Perform maintenance on gas engine compressors and related equipment.
      • Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues.
      • Conduct repairs and overhauls, including equipment installation.
      • Utilize OEM software for equipment optimization.
    • Field Support:
      • Provide on-site technical assistance.
      • Identify equipment inefficiencies and address problems.
      • Complete detailed service reports.
    • Training & Leadership:
      • Train and mentor new technicians.
      • Assist in equipment start-up and commissioning.
      • Support as a lead technician when required.
    • Safety & Compliance:
      • Adhere to safety protocols.
      • Participate in safety training.
      • Ensure compliance with regulations.

    Qualifications

    • Education: High school diploma or GED required, vocational school preferred.
    • Experience: 1-3 years of field experience with similar equipment.
    • Skills:
      • Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
      • Proficiency with diagnostic tools and OEM software.
      • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
      • Ability to work independently and in teams.
    • Certifications:
      • Valid driver's license.
      • Completion of required respiratory questionnaire.
