Who We Are: Climate Action PA is a project of Conservation Voters of PA. We utilize grassroots activism to secure a sustainable and just future for all. Our team is based in the Philadelphia/Delaware County area and advocates for sound environmental policies at the state, local and national levels. The program's primary objectives are to advocate for environmental legislation, hold elected officials accountable, expand youth outreach, build community, and advance environmental justice by bringing together diverse communities to push for strong climate policies and projects.


Internship Goals and Expectations: We offer a very flexible and rewarding internship program. This internship is unpaid, and requires some in-person time in the Philadelphia area (hybrid). Throughout the internship, you will work closely with full-time field organizers to transform your knowledge into tangible action. You will gain an understanding of grassroots organizing tactics, community engagement, coalition building, event planning, and more. We expect interns to have a strong commitment to environmental and racial justice. By the end of the internship, you will have gained the necessary tools to complete your own environmental capstone project.

Our internship program is fun and engaging, and would require interns to work for approx. 25 hours a week. Interns are also expected to spend one day in the office per week.
