    Sr. Machine Operator

    Sr. Machine Operator

    United Rotary Brush is a Lenexa, Kansas based manufacturer of specialty industrial brushes for the airport, road construction, street sweeping and plowing industries. Our Stockton, CA manufacturing facility is looking for a Sr. Machine Operator. Our positions are a great fit for those individuals that take pride in their work to produce a quality product for our customers.     $1000 available in Bonuses*

    SR. MACHINE OPERATOR JOB SUMMARY

    The skilled Sr. Machine Operator will be responsible for the operation of the tube broom machine, producing street cleaning brushes that are made with or without wiring.

    SR. MACHINE OPERATOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

    • Read and interpret blueprints.
    • Start, set-up and adjust machine to complete tasks accurately.
    • Spot welding broom with a mig welder.
    • Cleaning and light maintenance to the machine.
    • Correctly loading heavy gauge wire along with flat steel.
    • Perform quality checks on completed brooms.
    • Will pack and box brooms using a forklift.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain balance between multiple projects.

    SR. MACHINE OPERATOR MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    • Requires a high school diploma or GED.
    • 3-5 years machine manufacturing experience.
    • Spot welding experience.
    • Forklift experience.
    • Knowledge of production procedures.
    • Ability to read work order to load correct materials.
    • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Some mechanical aptitude a plus.
    • Attention to detail.

    *Note: A $500.00 retention bonus will be paid to those eligible participants who are hired while the program is in effect and attain 3 months of continuous employment with United Rotary Brush in their current qualified position. Eligible participants who are hired while the program is in effect and attain 6 months of continuous employment in their current qualified position will receive another $500.00 bonus. The bonuses are subject to all applicable taxes. Details of this program will be discussed at time of hire.
