    Job DescriptionDiNapoli Hospitality Group is growing our team. We're looking for an additional Event Coordinator to assist in event sales and event coordination/management of events at our busy wedding venue, The Briarcliff Manor.

    The EventCoordinator will be responsible for generating revenues for event catering sales, as well as the planning, follow through, administrative details, and managements of the events.

    The right candidate has strong banquet sales experience, strong organizational and administrative skills, along with event coordinating experience.

    This is a Full Time Role. The compensation for this role is a base salary, commissions, bonuses and tips.

    Experience: 10 years experience in Event Sales, Event Coordination, Banquet Sales


    EventCoordinator Responsibilities:
    • Coordinate Events and manage detailed Event Files ie. vendor communication, timelines, BEOs, track payments, Etc
    • Client prospecting & development via telephone, personal contact, outside calls, correspondence, email and other means of communication for corporate & social event sales.
    • Conduct tours with interested potential client, perform follow up to book events, prepare and present proposals and contracts.
    • Client Communication and Customer Service
    • Optimize revenues for event space, and food and beverage.
    • Attend Sales meetings, develop and work from a quarterly action plan that encompasses new Business Development
    • This role will require overseeing booked events: typically 2-3 Evening Events per Weekend)

    * Previous Banquet/Event Sales or Coordination Experience
    • Excellent communication & Follow up skills both written and oral.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office, email and customer management platform
    • Excellent selling and negotiating skills with strong market/industry knowledge
    • Customer Service Skills
    • Creative and innovative, as well as proactive and customer-oriented
    • Strong organizational skills & excellent time management
    • Previous Banquet/Event experience
    • Flexibility to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the venue including nights and weekends
    • Must have own transportation
    • People skills are a must
