Job summary
The Electronic Test Technician I is an entry-level position under close supervision. The technician will utilize electronic equipment, document test data, and read schematics to test, troubleshoot and repair process products and subassemblies.Responsibilities
- Assist Tech II and Tech III with necessary or applicable assignments in the testing process
- Evaluate and test System Operating Programs to compare to Factory Accepted Test Plans
- Perform testing and troubleshooting of electrical and electronic components down to the board level
- Wiring, cable prepping, and assembling as per the wiring diagrams.Read and understand all related drawings including, but not limited to, assembly drawings,bill of material (BOM),test procedures,and troubleshoot from schematics/li>Complete visual quality inspection of labelsand hardware checks/li_complete point-to-point continuity wire check on final product prior to electrical testing/li_Utilize test equipmentincluding,but not limited tor multimeters,Oscopes,power supplies,wave analyzers,bench test equipment/etc/./_li_Perform basic board level soldering_li_Adhere_to all safety guidelinesand utilize all PPE /_li_Maintain a safe,clean_and orderly work area.li_Have a working knowledgeof common hand_and power toolsand test equipment/_li_Knowledge_of_all dutieswill be cross functionalbut specific dutiesmay be assigned._/ul>
