Responsibilities:
Under direction of the project manager provide oversight of tasks being performed under other contracts including planning, environmental, design and construction
Under direction of project manager take lead on certain tasks and processes including engineering evaluation, concept development, value engineering, change validation, design review, field investigation, estimating, scheduling, and team coordination
Review submittals for compliance against standards
Verify process and procedure compliance
Prepare engineering related calculations, reports, memos, drawings, and visual aids
Coordinate meetings, action items, and other communication
Provide support in resolution of technical issues or other problems
Assist in maintaining project controls and documentation
Support client relations development and management
Support contract management processes
Job Requirements Minimum Requirements
Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or closely related discipline
4 years of related work experience
Proficient with spreadsheet, word processing, cloud-based file sharing, and other standard office software
Strong written communication skills
Must possess a valid driver's license
Preferred Qualifications
Professional Engineer (PE)
8-15 years of related work experience
Experience in transit and rail engineering
Experience with scheduling, process management, CAD, and other engineering software
