Job summary
The Communication Center Specialist is responsible for receiving incoming radio calls from EMS personnel.This individual will operate radio base equipment including transmitting and receiving emergency messages.
Maintain written logs, files and EMR in prescribed manner,
and provide updates regarding ETA and condition of referral/scene patient to appropriate unit/ED.
- Two years experience in EMS or hospital setting preferred.
- Experience with Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD), radio, and telephone operation preferred.
